Cindy and Catherine are offering this demonstration of a sound healing practice which uses frequency to remove imbalances caused by stress and trauma which can result in pain, loss of vitality, and illness. Slide presentation and audience participation! FREE. 

December 4, 2016 3PM: Sheri will teach a set of seasonal songs from various traditions at the North Chatham Free Library. Everyone welcome. Bring a recording device to capture the songs for practice. Music will be provided. The songs will be repeated at a celebration at the library the following week!

January 16, 2016 7:30PM: Proctor’s Sheri and Lincoln join a cast of instrumentalists and singers in a Cole Porter evening at the GE theater at Proctor’s in Schenectady, NY. Hear for the first time a 2 piano piece (Sheri & Lincoln) based on the Overture to Porter’s ballet, “Within The Quota.” Singers Jean Obernessor Leonard and Derek Stannard will offer up some divine Porter solos and duets, Lincoln some piano solos, and the Berkshire Bop Society (Sheri, Lincoln, Otto Gardner-bass, Ted MacKenzie-drums) will swing through some of Cole’s tunes. Special guest DJ from WGXC’s “Jazz Disturbance,” Cheryl K. Symister Masterson, will  be our guide for the evening.

December 13, 2015: North Chatham Free Library  Sheri  and the children of the Good Globe Singing School lead a community sing with songs from their fall and winter sessions for the North Chatham Free Library. 


December 5, 2015: Second Space  Sheri, Deborah Phelps, and Valerie Toenes perform “A Ceremony of Carols” with Chatham Harmonie & Lincoln Mayorga (piano) at Second Space during the Chatham Winterfest. Three 30 minute performances: 10:30am, 11:15am, 12:30pm. Freewill donation.

Sheri will guide singers in chant, echo songs, rounds, and call & answer tunes. Jeffrey will lead a Shaped Note demonstration and practice.  


May 15, 2015 7PM/ Spencertown Academy: The Good Globe Singing School Community Sing featuring performances by the pre-teen group, the girls’ acapella group, and teen soloists. 2013-2014

December 14, 2014 1:30PM Sheri and her students of the Good Globe Singing School will lead their annual Community Sing at the Spencertown Academy. Children will lead the audience in rounds and traditional folk song from their Fall and Winter 2014 repertoire. A few selections will be offered by the Teen Group and the Girls’ Acapella Group. Lincoln Mayorga will stop by to play a few holiday numbers for us while we catch our wind to jump into the next song. Freewill donation will benefit the Chatham Food Pantry.
